When you book yourself a stay at Mas de Mingall, there is a lot to discover in the area around us.

During a stay at Mas de Mingall you are in the mountains, and only 10 kilometers from the Mediterranean sea. The nearest village, L'Ametlla de Mar, is well known for its many beautiful small coves, and natural beaches with crystalline water. Calas as they are called. Even in high season these beaches remain quiet and a bit undiscovered.

All year round this is a good base to those who like to put on their walking shoes. Stay close and hike in the mountains in our backyard. Or pick a trail in the area along the coast line, through nature, spectacular landscapes and historical paths. The GR connects L'Ametlla de Mar to L'Almadrava. We have put our favorite hikes on Wikiloc.

Disclaimer: while there is a lot to see and do in the region around us, Mas de Mingall has a special effect on its guests. Arriving here with lots of plans to explore the area, you might just end up doing nothing, slow down and completely relax… We have seen it happen before...! :-)
